AFREAK.com is an online entertainment website built around the Freak Test, a comedy personality quiz. It measures how much of a freak you are, assigns one of ten Freak Types, and makes a shareable Freak Card that can be checked. Made by Epic, the one person who makes AFREAK. Last updated 2026-10-07. THREE KINDS OF CLAIM, NEVER BLURRED
- personalised model output: Freak Score, Freak Type, Freak Index, topical Freak Ranks. Source of truth: AFREAK's own scoring model, applied to the answers in the share link. Never 'people like you' or 'N% of people'. A claim about the instrument, not about a population.
- AFREAK community opinion: Freak Off and Daily Freak splits, city counts on the Freak Map. Source of truth: AFREAK's own recorded votes and completions, with the count shown beside every percentage and nothing shown below a stated floor.
- external population truth: the public layers of the Freak Map. Source of truth: a named public dataset, cited with its year and sample, never mixed into an AFREAK number.
NAMING
- Freak Type: an identity, one of exactly 10, awarded only by the Freak Test.
- Freak Topic: a subject one of the smaller tests covers.
- Freak Rank: the outcome inside one topical test, five per test, never called a type.
- The ten: The Obsessive Freak, The Rabbit-Hole Freak, The Chaos Freak, The Adventure Freak, The Main Character Freak, The Outlaw Freak, The Control Freak, The Undercover Freak, The Absolute Freak, The Certified Normal.
- The six dimensions: Curiosity, Obsession, Chaos, Adventure, Social Freakiness, Rule Breaking.
THE FREAK INDEX
- Meaning: how rare a score profile is among everything the test can generate.
- Basis: 200,000 sampled answer patterns from the test's scoring model, not population data.
- Fixed wording: “FREAK INDEX: N. Your score profile falls within the rarest N% of profiles this test can generate. Based on AFREAK's scoring model, not population data.”
- Never: "rarer than N% of people", "top N% of freaks", "freakier than N% of people", "rarer than most".

A result link carries the answers it was scored from. Every page that shows a card re-scores them; an edited link shows the recomputed numbers and says it was edited.
