PLAYBACK YOUR FREAKY MOMENTS
The bit of the video everyone needs to see. Paste a YouTube or playback.tv link, mark where it starts and where it stops, and get a page that plays exactly that, on a loop. Keep it in your Locker, send the link, or open it on Playback to cut and compare.
WHAT YOU CAN PASTE
- A YouTube link, in any form: watch, youtu.be, Shorts, a live replay. A start time in the link (
t=) is picked up. - A playback.tv link: a loop, a Playback, a Cut or a Compare. TikTok moments come in this way, as a published Playback.
- Nothing is uploaded, copied or re-hosted. A moment is a citation into the official player, played through playback.tv, the sibling site built for exactly this.
HOUSE RULES
- PG-13. This is a comedy site with teenagers on it. Funny, weird, impressive, embarrassing: yes. Sexual, hateful, or somebody's worst day without their say: no.
- A moment is private by link. There is no public feed. It is seen by the people you send it to, and by anyone they send it to.
- Reports are read by a person. No report address is printed yet. When one is set it appears here and on every moment page. Until then, /about says who makes this. A reported source goes on a block list and every link that cites it stops rendering.
- Captions are short and plain. Eighty characters, no links, the same treatment as the name on a Freak Card.
